CJ, along with his son, Greg was the proud owner of J&J Auto Upholstery in Columbus, Ohio for 58 years.
He was born on August 14, 1937 in Siler, Kentucky.
CJ is preceded in death by his parents, Caleb and Lula (Mahan) Jones; wife, Jeanette Jones; sister, Eula Mayne; brothers, CB Jones, Fred Jones, HC Jones, Danny Jones, and Donnie Jones.
CJ is survived by his son, Greg (Patty) Jones; grandsons, Danny and Mark Jones; great-granddaughters, Vera, Trinity and Emerald Jones; sisters, Ruby Bailey and Beulah (Bob) Walker; special friend, Melissa Marcum and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He loved cars, family and friends and telling stories about cars, family and friends in that order. He never met a stranger. CJ loved his grandsons and making purses for his great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 9, 2021 and 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Friday, December 10, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, December 10, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio.
