Joan Marie Burke, age 85, went home to be with the lord on January 17th 2022. Joan was born on September 10th 1936 in Columbus Ohio, the daughter of Joesph and Lucille (Keller) Lytle.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, she will be keenly missed by her husband of 66 years, Edwin Burke. She is survived by her four sons; Michael (Regina), David, Ronnie (Kim), and Daniel. Grandchildren Jason, Daniel, Kali, Steven, Carlie, Sean, Zach, Taylor, many great-grandchildren and her dear friend Rose Marie and Kathleen Burke-Mink.

Joan will be remembered as a women who deeply loved her husband and her family, who lived by Christian faith, was most at peace reading scripture and listening to praise and worship songs. Joan was an accomplished seamstress, who loved her Cowboys football team! She was an extraordinary tap dancer who danced for the war bond rally at the palace theatre as a young girl. Joan respected nature, treasured being in the outdoors and going camping with her boys. A dear friend to many, her absence will be keenly felt by all those her life touched.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jimmy Lytle & grandson Mikey Clouse.
