In Memory Of
Sarah Toy
1978 - 2022
Sarah was born on September 12, 1978 to Nick Carroll Sr. and Margie Lee in Columbus. From the beginning, anyone she met was charmed by her gentle disposition, her softspoken bemusement, and her tremendous artistic talent-which included painting, sculpture, ceramics, and drawing.
Sarah loved all animals and had a menagerie throughout her life, including an alligator, an iguana, numerous aquarium fish, mice, and several dozen cats. But her caring nature was most evident in the devotion she showed her two daughters, Drew and Kylie Toy, born 2000 and 2002. Sarah fawned over her girls, making sure they looked terrific in toddler “dressies,” taking them everywhere, and letting them watch whatever they needed to on TV.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Margie Lee; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Katherine Lee; and paternal grandparents, Wayne and Pearl Carroll. She is survived by her two daughters, Drew and Kylie Toy; her father and step-mother, Nick Carroll Sr. and Pam Carroll; her brothers, Nick (Adrienne) Carroll and Josh Carroll; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on Broadway in Grove City on May 12, 2022 from 1-2:00 p.m. a tNewcomer-SW Chapel. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by procession to Grove City Cemetery.
