She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel J. Fitzpatrick; sister, Lynn Lee; brother, Steve "Red" Fitzpatrick; first love, James Robert Day Sr.; her last love, Bob Killian; best friend, Jackie Hammond. Debra is survived by her daughters, Angela (Brian) Blackburn, Cheri Crisp, Ashley (Patrick) Jarvis; mother, Mary Davis-Fitzpatrick; sister, Pam McLain; grandchildren, Tyler (Lauren) Collins, Tristan (Kye) Ball, Samantha Blackburn, Christopher Drake, Cheyenne Blackburn, Emma Drake; great-granddaughters, Tinley Collins and Vivian Ball; nieces and nephews; her beloved dog, Bella.
Debra attended Bishop Ready High School. She was a devoted caregiver, including taking care of children in her early years and the elderly in her later years. She enjoyed going on vacation in Clearwater Beach, Florida. She fought her battle with cancer until her last breath. She never knew a stranger and was loved and respected by everyone she knew. Debra was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
The visitation will be on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City, Ohio 43123. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday followed by procession to Sunset Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to: A Special Wish Foundation.
