Rev. Dennis W Roberts, 72, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away July 7, 2022. Dennis was born in Springfield, Ohio on September 28, 1949 to Homer Larman and Ethel {Snider} Roberts.

Dennis graduated from South High School in Springfield, Ohio. He earned a ministerial degree from United Wesleyan University. He was ordained in the Wesleyan Church in 1978 and spent 40-years in ministry. For the last 38-years, Dennis was an artist in thread. He used a blank canvas and created counted cross-stitch art which he had framed as gifts for others.

He was married to Judy {Brewer} Roberts for 51 years.
Dennis will be deeply missed by his wife; children Dennis Mark {Angela} Roberts and Christina D. Roberts; grandchildren Amanda, Tommy, David and Matthew; great-grandchildren Jayden, Tristyn, Justice and Trinity; sisters-in- law, Pat Roberts and Sharon Roberts, and many nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Wilmer VanDale Roberts and Robert Roberts; his sister Julia and brother-in-law Frances Hoagland; and his sister Martha and brother-in-law David Hoagland; and two nephews, Jonathan Hoagland and Mark Hoagland.

Visitation Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 13, 2022 visitation from 10am until the time of service at 11am at the Faith Community Church of God with Pastor Adrian Powell officiating. Burial will be at Concord Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Community Church of God, 4203 Alkire Road, PO Box 1383, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
