Billy R. Burchett, 81, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Kobacker House after a long illness of heart failure.
Billy was born on April 21, 2941, the son of the late Richard and Ernestine (Sexton) Burchett. He was a 1959 graduate of Northwest High School. Billy retired from Columbus Auto Parts and Westerville Schools. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Billy will be deeply missed by his wife of 59 years Wanda (Miller) Burchett, they were married August 25, 1962. Also surviving is his son David Burchett and grandchildren Kilynd and Griffen Burchett.
He is preceded in death by his son Michael Burchett, 2 brothers Fred and Dick Burchett, sister Mary Knight and father and mother in law Clarence and Mary Ellen (Jackson) Miller.
There will be no services per Billy's request.
