Richard A. "Rick" Hunter, age 64 of Columbus, passed away on July 31, 2022. He was born on June 23, 1958 in Columbus, OH. Rick is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Terri (Edington) Hunter, mother Donna Rich, children John "Bo" Hunter and Alicia Brown, grandchildren Jordan Wiley and Jacionna Hunter, siblings Danny Hunter, Rick (Sherry) Rich, Ronnie (Christy) Rich, Mindy (Kevin) Agin and LeaAnn Rich-Childs, brother-in-laws Brian (Kris) Edington and Craig (Linda) Edington, sister-in-law Christy (Stacy) Greenhaw and cousin Allen White. He was preceded in death by his father Richard "Rich" Hunter, brother Randy Rich.

Rick was an avid fisherman and sportsman. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Browns and Boston Celtics. He played softball for Columbus Pipe for several years. He worked for Lorenz Equipment and currently employed by MTR, Machinery & Tool Rental. He will be missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral service on Monday at 10:00am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
