Audra Nickoson Lanning Saether, age 84, of Columbus, Ohio passed away November 15, 2022 at her
residence. Audra was born April 25, 1938 in Athens County Ohio and attended Shade High School. She
was preceded in death by her husband Junior Lanning, parents Rex and Mabel Nickoson, sisters Garnet
Keith, Nellie Hamer and Veva Stanley and niece Carolyn Johnson. She is survived by husband Ed Saether,
son Michael, daughters Pat (Jeff) Emmelhainz and Judy (Tim) Deal, brothers Rex, Tom and Don,
grandchildren Nicole (Jason), Bethany (Adam), Matthew and William Emmelhainz, Theresa (Jason)
Murphy, Jennifer (Dustin) Beat, Michael, Carolyn and James (Nikki) Lanning, numerous great
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special girls Denise and Lauren Romans, and extended family members.
Above all, Audra loved her family.
Audra was the owner/founder of A&E Metal Cutting Services. She was a member of Columbia Heights
United Methodist Church, where she volunteered over many years. Additionally, Audra loved gardening
and had an amazing green thumb.
Friends may call at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Monday,
November 21, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Columbia Heights United
Methodist Church, 775 Galloway Rd, Galloway, Ohio 43119 on Tuesday, November 22,2022 at 10:00 am.
Interment to follow at Hilltop Cemetery in Millfield, Ohio.
