In Memory Of
Karen Sue Ritchey
1953 - 2022
Karen Sue Ritchey, 69, passed away on November 16, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born on January 9, 1953 in Columbus to the late Gerald Palmer and Alva Mae Smith.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gary P. Smith.
Surviving family includes loving husband, Francis, daughter, Heather (Casey Eberly) Young, grandchildren, Chloe, Owen.
She loved the outdoors, music, biking, gardening and flowers, bird watching, but above all she loved her family and friends. She was always finding ways to give back to the community, whether it was volunteering or collecting items to be donated.
In leu of flowers we ask that you donate to a charity of your choosing in her name. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. We would like to honor her life together with you all.
If you have an uplifting story to share, please do so. Her laugh was infectious; we all know she would want us to be doing just that.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gary P. Smith.
