In Memory Of
Lilian Zucker
1919 - 2022

The family of Lilian Zucker wishes to announce her peaceful passing on November 17th 2022 at the age of 103.

Born in Cleveland Ohio to Herbert & Gladys Lederer on October 2nd 1919, Lilian graduated from Shaker Heights High School and went on to earn a teaching degree at Columbia University.

Shortly after the end of WWII, Lilian married Joseph Edward Zucker. Loving mother to three children, Lilian mourned the loss of her middle child Dale in 1963. Six years later, husband Joseph passed away from illness. She spent the rest of her life devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lilian adored all things furry, feathered & finned. A lifelong believer in our Almighty God, she remained humble and generous with her time and infectious positivity. Lilian loved people unconditionally. She had a natural talent for drawing, enjoyed dancing, playing the piano and adored eating ice cream. Oh boy, how she loved ice cream!

Left to mourn are her children Danna Testa (Steve) who fully devoted their time, around the clock and affectionately cared for Lilian in their home until the very end. Son - Darren Zucker (Nancy), grandchildren – Jay Josephs (Natalee), Scott, Skylar and Christopher Testa (Rebecca), great grandchildren, Curtis, Asher, Shai, Theo, Shayden, Quinton and Sutton. Lilian and her grandson Scott had an exceptional relationship. They were best friends and cohorts on many memorable adventures. Scott looked after Lilian’s most every need, night and day. Our entire family is very grateful and appreciative of Scott for the way he unselfishly doted on, loved and sweetly cared for our Lilian over her many, many later years.

Even though Lilian shall be deeply missed, we rejoice in knowing that her spirit is eternally in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We thank God for His Grace and Mercy on her life and for the time He allowed us to share with her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Delaware Humane Society.
Internment to take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
