Robert Lee Baisden, III, age 64 of Columbus, passed away on November 17, 2022. He was born on August 19, 1958 to Robert and Nary Baisden in Williamson, WV. Robert is survived by mother Nary J. Baisden, son Robert Lee Baisden, IV, grandchildren Cadence and Rylan Baisden, siblings Brenda (Donnie) Zirkle, Ronald (Ann) Baisden and Linda (Michael) Shepherd, nieces Lynette (Cory) Chittum and children, Amber (Brandon) Maby and children and Emily (David) Dresbach, nephews Michael Shepherd Jr, Ronald (Haley) Baisden and Brandon Shepherd, special extended family Amber Chaney (son Roger and daughter Skylar) and Shelby Chaney, cousins that were dear, Danny Ferguson, Debbie Baisden-Mayo, as well as many family and friends. Preceded in death by father Robert Lee Baisden, Jr.

He graduated from Hamilton Township High School in 1977. Robert served in the U.S Marines Corp from 1978 to 1982 as a Rifle Marksman and GCM. He had a love of cars, especially Pontiac's, street and drag racing. He loved all animals. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm with Robert's sister Brenda Zirkle officiating. Burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, OH. Memorial contributions may be directed to any animal rescue or disabled veterans.
