Linda Pearl Brofford, age 70, was born in Columbus, Ohio, on June 7, 1952, to Eugene Grubb Sr. and Mary DiPasquale. She was proceeded in death by her Sister MaryJo Hardnett, Sister & Brother in-law Helen & David Smith, Aunt Leota Delgado, Uncles Frankie Hern & James Hern. She is survived by her Daughter CeCe (Keith) Harris, Sons, Leroy (Terri) Ellis, Johnie Ellis & Duane (Liliya) Ellis; Step-daughter Joni Mason, Brothers Eugene (Jeanne) Grubb Jr. Freddy DiPasquale, Aunt-Barbara Hardy, Uncle-Edward (Christina) Grubb, Grandchildren - Brianna, Erika, Cory, Jayden, Mason, Isaiah & Isabella– all Ellis. Bonus grandchildren- Kennedy Davis, Sequoia Dobbins & Gabrielle Reid.

Nephews - Kevin (Yvonne) Grubb, Tony Dipasquale, Christopher Dipasquale, Nieces - Tracy (Danny) Faiella, Christina Smith, Beth Perez, and Tina Dipasquale. A host of cousins, great nieces and nephews. Bonus daughters Teresa Wears and Melissa Henley. Special friends - Bonnie, Emma, Linda, Satalia, Ellis, Naomi and Tina.

Linda, affectionally known as “Greasy Granny,” passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023, at McNaughten Pointe Nursing Home with her loving daughter CeCe by her side. Linda retired from Westminister Thurber in 2005. She became a Facebook sensation over the years and has almost 5000 “fans”. Some of her hobbies included playing cards, playing bingo with her friends and Sunday trips to the casino with her son Leroy.

Her favorite sports teams were The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Linda loved her grandchildren so much and was very proud of all of them. Linda was crazy about Mickey Mouse and wanted him all over her house and on all of her clothes. Favorite trademarks include the phrase “Later Later”, throwing up the peace sign and blowing kisses. She will truly be missed.

Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
