In Memory Of
Ross C. Jones Sr.
1940 - 2023

Ross C. Jones Sr., 82, passed away surrounded by family on January 20, 2023. He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. He has reunited with his beloved wife, fulfilling her final wish of being together forever, always responding with a loving 'yes, dear.'

After a long and successful career with the railroad, he retired with the respect and admiration of his colleagues. He spent his retirement years enjoying time with his family. In his leisure time, he had a passion for collecting rare coins, capturing memories through photography, traveling to new places, and exploring different cultures, and reading about the rich history of the world. He was an avid learner and these hobbies allowed him to continue his lifelong pursuit of knowledge and adventure.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Carolyn Jones. Ross is survived by his sons, Ross C. (Kathy) Jones Jr., Thomas (Michelle) Jones, Jeff Otten, and Kevin (Kim) Otten; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Janet and Sue.
