In Memory Of
Christopher Brandon Arrigo
1982 - 2023
Christopher was very active in Special Olympics and especially enjoyed playing basketball, running track, and other sporting events like Bocce Ball and Bowling. His family made sure he was at all the various events and actively supported his efforts. Christopher had shared an apartment with his friend Jimmy prior to returning back home when his parents moved to Dublin, OH. Christopher had held several jobs working as a Walmart Greeter, ticket taker at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and most recently as a cashier at Home Depot. Christopher was a big Ohio State fan and had attended several games with his father, an OSU graduate. Over the years Christopher was excited to be able to personally meet several Buckeye athletes through their involvement with the Special Olympics. Christopher was also a Cincinnati Bengals fan and used as his email Bengalsfan! He was very excited last year as the Bengals went to the Super Bowl and was looking forward to hopefully seeing them in the Super Bowl again this year and coming home with a victory!
In addition to his parents, Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, Augie and Mary Finelli Arrigo, Ira and Janice Wise Brandon, and Aunt Maryann Christoffersen. He is survived by brother Matthew Arrigo, neice Barbara Camp, nephew Matthew Arrigo and niece Christina Arrigo of Dublin, OH, Uncle Ed Christoffersen and his sons, Doug, Tim, and Dan, Uncle Douglas Brandon, Centerburg, OH, Uncle Rich Brandon, Mt Vernon, OH, Aunt Sharen (Kerry) Rice, Lewis Center, OH, Aunt Karen (John) Mechtly, Bolivia, NC, several cousins, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH.
