In Memory Of
James P. Kreemer
1970 - 2023

James P. Kreemer, 52, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, May 21, 2023. James was given many nicknames; "J.P." or "J.P.K." by his wife. "James Patrick Kreemer Oneill Esquire III" by his father and "Jimmy" by his father-in-law but ONLY by his father-in-law.

James was born on September 8, 1970, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on the United States Marine Corps base. He was born here with the purest heart and the most passionate soul. 20 years later, he returned to the place he was born when he joined the Marine Corps himself to serve his country during The Gulf War. He was honorably discharged for medical reasons which prevented him from continuing his plan of serving for life.

James' personality was infectious, his reputation was remarkable, and every person he met, he called a friend. He never knew a stranger, found good in everyone, and was always the light in a room. James was adventurous, and a "try anything once" kind of guy. He loved the extreme things like sky diving, running Spartan Races and eating Diablo rubbed chicken wings. But what he loved most was spending time at home with his wife, reading a book, enjoying ice cream, and taking naps (when she would let him).

Though he was only on earth for such a short time, he will be remembered for eternity by family, friends and all who met him.

James is survived by his wife Carrie, they were given 23 blissful years together. He is also survived by his parents, Danny and Sherry (Alice) Kreemer, and Don Yates; siblings Chad Kreemer, Brian (Kim) Kreemer, Summer (Scott) McKee; 15 nieces and nephews Chase, Addison, Cassie, Jake, Elijah, Jonah, Everleigh, Brayden, Drew, Dylan, Julian, Jayden, Savannah, John and Casey; Father and Mother- in-law Bill and Fran Carter; sister-in-law Kim (Quin) Agnew, along with many aunts, uncles, family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Yates, his sister Risse Kreemer and both paternal and maternal grandparents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 2pm until the time of service at 4pm at Newcomer NW Chapel 10051 Brewster Ln. Powell, OH 43065. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Wounded Warrior Project, which was close to his heart.
