He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Joe retired from Huntington Bank after 34 years and then worked for Avis for almost 20 years. Joe was a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, golf and spending time with his family.
Joe will be deeply missed by his wife Peggy (Ferguson) Billiar of 69 years; son Christopher; brother Jim (Sally) Billiar; sister Janice Scherer along with many other family and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 1pm until the time of service at 2pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus, where military rites will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
