Teresa K. Bailey, 62, of Dublin, OH, passed from this life to her heavenly home on September 13, 2023, after a two-year battle with ovarian cancer. A celebration of life service will be held at Northwest Chapel Church, 6700 Rings Road, Dublin, OH 43016 on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 3:00pm. A reception at the church will follow the service.

Terri and her twin brother Tom were born in Hayti, Missouri, on November 10, 1960.

Terri graduated from Heath High School in West Paducah, Kentucky (1979). She studied chemistry and physics at Murray State and was awarded a BS in 1983. Terri moved to Columbus after graduation and spent most of her adult life as a resident of Dublin, OH.

Her first job after graduation was as an Assistant Editor of scientific journals at the American Chemical Society, where she worked for ten years. It was there that she met her future husband, Jeff. They were married in 1986 and had two children, Kyle and Adam. She became a full-time mom and devoted herself to her family, church, and community.

She was an active volunteer for countless school-related activities. Terri also became involved in PRO-Mom, a non-profit group of young mothers, including serving a term as president. When the kids were older, she became a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Kroger. After ten years, she retired in 2019.

Terri attended Northwest Chapel in Dublin for almost 30 years and served in various children's ministries and as an usher and greeter. She was also active in BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) and was a discussion group leader. More recently, Terri was passionate about My Own Backyard, the homeless ministry at Northwest Chapel.

Terri loved walking on the beach and looking for shells. Her home away from home was Panama City Beach, where her family vacationed during her childhood, and she continued to frequent throughout her life. She loved crosswords and had a table dedicated to puzzles to work on together with family and friends.

Terri is survived by her husband, Jeff; Sons Kyle (Andrea) and Adam (Morgan) of Powell, OH; Brothers Bill Towers of St. Charles, MO, Tom Towers of Nashville, TN, Jim (Lisa) Towers of Madison, AL; Sister-in-law Crisa Towers; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Pat Towers; In-laws Charles and Becky Bailey; Brother Mike Towers; and sister-in-law, Jackie Towers.

It was Terri's wish that any memorial tributes be made to Northwest Chapel's "Our Own Backyard" ministry.

Terri's services at the church will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time, so to view her church service you can copy and paste the following link and place the link in your browser - https://vimeo.com/event/3751272
