Dorothy "Dottie" J. Clark, 77, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on October 24, 2023. She was born on November 3, 1945, in Columbus. Dottie was a beloved sister, aunt, friend, teacher, and devoted Christ-follower.

Dottie was known for her vibrant energy and unwavering dedication to serving others. She accepted Christ at a young age and lived out her faith by serving in children's ministries and ushering at Westgate Friends Church, Cypress Wesleyan, and Crossroads United Methodist. Dottie's selflessness and kind-hearted nature endeared her to everyone she met.

Dottie is survived by her sister, Patricia Webb (Harold), and her nephews, Andrew Webb (Annette) and Thomas Webb (Jennifer). She is also survived by her great-niece, Katherine Sprunger (Zack), great-nephew, Nathan Webb (Ester), and great-great nephew, Zeke Sprunger. Dottie cherished her dear friends, Karen Bradley and Kelly Johnston; their families were her family. Her commitment to relationships and her propensity for laughter and fun made a lasting impact on countless lives. After retiring, she continued to support the academic development of aspiring teachers.

Dottie was a passionate fan of The Ohio State football team. She was not shy about expressing her unrivaled support and enthusiasm for the Buckeyes. For 50 years, she faithfully served as an usher, cheering on the team she loved. She was honored on the field for her years of service, and a plaque was placed inside the stadium in 2022. Dottie also enjoyed connecting with friends in the West High Alumni Association and the Red Hat Society for many years.

Dottie's faith, infectious energy, warm spirit, and dedication to serving others will be remembered and cherished by all who were privileged to know her.
