Ada Scheurell, 87, of Whitehall, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Mt. Carmel East.
She was born August 22, 1928 in Nelsonville, daughter of the late Clifford and May Chapman Woolever.
In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Roger W. Scheurell Sr.; sons, Ronald Scheurell and Roger W. Scheurell Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Scheurell and Catherine (Jim) Nelson; sons, Thomas (Rosie), Anthony (Cheryl) and Danny (Alana) Scheurell; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, December 31, 2015, 9:30 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4383 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213, with Father William Arnold officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital P.O. Box 1000 Dept 142 Memphis, TN 38101.
