Aimee Leah Welfley, age 45, unexpectedly passed away and went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2026. She was born on May 25, 1980 to the late Dale and Mona (Silverthorn) Welfley in Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Aimee was preceded in death by her sister Megan Welfley along with her maternal and paternal grandparents. Aimee is survived by sister Nicole (Eric) Novak, nieces Makenna, Hailey and Reagan Parsell, nephew Isaac Novak and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Aimee loved to spend time doing art, listening to ’80s music, shopping, and collecting knickknacks - especially Happy Meal toys, Beanie Babies, Hello Kitty items, and elephants. She cherished sleepovers with her nieces as well as special overnights with her sister, Nicole, and brother-in-law, Eric, and treasured any time she could spend with family.
Aimee had a very caring heart and a contagious laugh. She loved everyone in her life fiercely and could often be found on long phone calls, happily catching up with those she cared about. Kind hearted, unique, and strong-spirited, Aimee will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day by her family. She now rests peacefully, reunited with her beloved sister and best friend, Megan, and her mother, Mona.
