It ended where it all began, at his childhood home of Orient, OH.
Albert "Mick" Boyd was born January 31, 1939. After a courageous battle with cancer, his life on earth ended February 24, 2015 with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Boyd, dedicated son and daughter in law Kirk "Danny" and Carolyn "Kay" Boyd. Grandson Pappas little buddy Jordan (Alicia Fravel) Boyd, great-grandson Mason Boyd, and faithful companion Beagle Mabel "Ol Girl". Longtime friends Jeff Sherrick & Tony Snider.
The family would like to send special thanks to Zangmeister Cancer Clinic "Micks Angels" Mt Carmel Radiation Dept., 3rd floor staff at Mt Carmel, Mt Carmel Hospice, and Pam Hart RN.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7PM Friday Feb. 27 by Rick Bean, with visitation 1 hour prior at Newcomer Funeral Home SW 3393 Broadway Grove City, OH 43123. Private graveside services will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Mount Carmel Hospice.
We love and will miss you, we will carry you with us always...Pappa, Go Rest High on That Mountain, He loved his wife and family, and they loved him dearly...Until we meet again, Barb.
