Alden R. Jenkins Jr., 88, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in Westerville, Ohio. Alden was born on September 9, 1938, to Alden R. Jenkins Sr. and Opal Kachel.
Alden is preceded in death by son Kevin Jenkins and sisters Carol and Janene
He is survived by wife, Sharon Jenkins, son John Jenkins, and granddaughter Sara Jenkins
He was an architect, civil engineer, business consultant, and professor at Columbus colleges. Previously working at Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission, Alden Stilson and Associates, and Woolpert Consultants.
He loved to play and coach his son's sports teams. He had the best sense of humor. Always making jokes and making his family laugh up until the end.
He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
He was an incredible husband and father. He will be missed so much.
