Alessandro "Ping" Losego of Sunbury passed away on June 4th. Born Oct. 29th, 1940 to the late Alfredo and Antonietta (Spagnol) Losego.
Ping is survived by loving wife of 52 yrs. Joyce (Fisher) Losego, brother Celeste (Les) Losego, children John and his wife Pat Losego, Belinda and her husband Randy Paul and Tony Losego. Grandchildren Alex and Cassy Losego, and Brandon and Jeremy Paul. Special nephew Lewis Paul Fisher.
Proceeded in death by sister Maria and brother in law Larry Cavey.
Ping was a first-generation Italian-American. His parents immigrated to the USA where they met, married, and had three children. He worked for Bando Construction, which is where he met his forever Babydoll Joyce (Fisher) Losego. He worked for Dominic Spagnol Construction as well but ended up retiring from Badurina Construction after 40 years in 2002.
Ping lived a simple life but loved his family fiercely. He raised his kids to love unconditionally and not sweat the small stuff.
Ping and Joyce built their home in 1973. They raised three children in this home and welcomed four grandchildren and had a special bond with Jeremy, his little buddy.
He will be joining two of his constant canine companions Milly and Tinker. He is now resting after a long hard three-year battle with lung cancer. He is riding his mower, feeding his dogs, drinking a beer and waiting patiently on his Babydoll to join him.
Visitation for Ping will be held on June 9th from 2 to 7 at Newcomer Funeral Home Northeast with veteran's honors at 6:45. In lieu of flowers donations to the family may be made to help cover medical and funeral home costs.
