Alfred Brock Sr.

Alfred E. "Bud" Brock Sr., 68, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 29, 2014. He was born in Sevier County, TN on April 1, 1946. He was preceded in death by parents, Alfred J. and Rachel K. Latham Brock and sister, Mary Jacobs.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Alice Lawhun Brock; son, Alfred Jr. "Buddy"; daughter, Angela (James) Orr and grandsons, Connor and Aidan Orr. He also leaves behind a brother, Joe (Kay) Brock; sisters, Shirley Seymour, Glenda (Jim) Miller, Judy (David) Froggett, Gail (Sam) Lawhun and many nieces, nephews and friends; as well as special friends, Lloyd and Anita Davenport.

Bud was a member of Alum Creek Baptist Church for many years. He always had a smile for everyone and never met a stranger.

Visitation Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 1-3 and 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Friday, September 5, 2014 at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Pastors Darrell Davis and Randall Kuhn to officiate. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH.
