Listen to Obituary

Alice Jane Danduran was called home to our Lord surrounded by family and friends in her home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. She was 84 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents Jerome and Alice Keller and her brother Jerome (Jerry) Allen Keller.

Jane was born Feb 20,1942 in Devils Lake, ND to Jerome and Alice (Robertson) Keller. Her earliest years were spent on the family farm in rural Esmond, North Dakota. Their home had no electricity, which meant no running water, no refrigeration or radio; all common conveniences in many homes at that time. So, she spent many of those quiet hours in books. Her parents read to her often, and when she was four, she began to read to herself. She always said she could go anywhere in the world through the pages of a good book. Reading became a lifelong passion for Jane.

When Jane was 12 the Keller family moved into town, where she later graduated from Esmond High School in 1959. She attended college at UND, majoring in Art. She met Larry Danduran Sr in Minnewaukan ND in 1960 and married Dec 26th, 1961. They moved to Washington DC where Jane worked for ND Senator Quentin Burbick. She gave birth to her first child Larry Jr. in Washington DC in 1962. She and the family moved back to Minot, ND where they welcomed daughters Anna in 1963 and Rachel in 1964. Three children under 3 made for a very busy household. After a couple of more moves in ND, she and the family moved to Columbus OH in 1969. Jane was very active in her community hosting many neighborhood picnics and gatherings to help our community grow. The Danduran family hosted many foreign college students into their home, exposing the neighborhood to many diverse and fascinating cultures. And Jane was active in the children's school serving as a room mother, and on the PTA where her compassion for others was put to profound use.

In short order Jane became focused on her insurance career. She was the cofounder and president of Danduran & Associates Insurance Agency, a company that has been in business since 1975 and remains a Danduran family owned and operated business to this day. Jane served as President of the Professional Insurance Agents Association in 1986 and 1987. She was among Ohio’s charter Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designees and held her CIC designation for more than 45 years. Jane served as First Vice President of the Hilltop Business Association and served with several other charities and nonprofits in a myriad of different roles.

She is survived by her three children: Lawrence Danduran, Jr. and his wife Glenda Danduran; Anna Kolliopoulos and her husband Mike Edwards; Rachel Andersen; and her beloved step-son Mark Andy Woolever and his wife Katie Woolever, and her 13 grandchildren: Christopher Danduran, Robert McSweeney, Abigail Blakeway, Jacob Danduran, Joshua Andersen, Emily Danduran, Luke Danduran, Panayotis Kolliopoulos, Aliki Kolliopoulos, Leah Rice, Samuel Andersen, Amalia Kolliopoulos, Lillian Loes and their spouses. She is also survived by her 23 great-grandchildren, and so many loving friends that feel like family. We thank you all for the love you have brought to our mother.

The family would like to make special mention of Jane's dear friends and neighbors who helped us care for her these last few months preparing her body, mind, and soul for her journey to Christ. Thank you Lisa Rees, Rene Miller, Gay Finn, Sherma Ferguson and Shannon Carder.
