Alicemarie "Mitzi" Koontz, 78, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Alice was born in Hallsville, OH on August 30, 1935 to James B. and Gladys (Consoliver) Stump and is preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold T. Koontz; son Mark Koontz; 4 sisters and 5 brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Lynnedelle (Bob) Harrison; son Bobby (Amy) Dodson, Richie Franchini; sister Elva (Res) Talbort; brother Tex Stump; grandchildren Bobby A. Dodson III, Blaine A. Dodson, Annielise Koontz; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm.
Funeral service on Friday at the funeral home at 1pm, with Pastor Patricia Pagnanelli officiating.
Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery.
