Allan Keys, 82, of Franklin, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. He was born in Indiana on October 15, 1934 to Alford Keys. Al is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patty.
Al is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ruthie; brother, Don; sister, Kathy; nephew, Robert (Annie), Mike (Kim); nieces, Sandy, Barb, Linda, Sadie; great-nephews, Bobby, Randy (Angie), Joey (Megan), Donnie, Dustin, Kyle, Jason, Zach and Daniel; great-nieces, Sara, Danyale, Marielle, Molly and Marla and great-great niece, Harleen.
Al worked at the GM/Saturn plant from the time the first vehicle rolled off the line until the last one went out the door. Al had a wonderful sense of humor. He kept his family laughing. He was loyal to a fault. Everyone loved him, especially all the children. He never met a stranger. Everyone was a friend he was just waiting to meet.
We all come in the same; we all leave the same. What matters is the time from we arrive until we depart. The only thing we truly have is our word and Al was a man of his word.
Al was the love of Ruthie's life. They were fortunate enough to have been soul mates. Al will be deeply missed by Ruthie until they are together again.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. A funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home.
