Allen Lee Leffler Jr., born on November 9, 1959, in Beaufort, South Carolina, passed away on April 17, 2026, at Mount Carmel Hospital in Grove City, Ohio. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, and friend whose life was marked by service, dedication, and a deep love for those around him.

Allen proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, demonstrating a commitment to duty that remained a defining part of his character throughout his life. Following his military service, he built a distinguished career with the City of Columbus, retiring as a fleet supervisor. His work ethic and leadership were admired by colleagues and friends alike.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Allen treasured the time spent with his family and friends. He was a passionate outdoorsman who relished camping, traveling, and exploring new places. His enthusiasm for adventure was matched by his love of golf and music; he found joy in playing his guitar and sharing his love of melodies with those around him. Trips to Disney World brought him immense happiness, as did moments spent savoring a fine cigar or riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, embracing the freedom and exhilaration of the open road.

A gentle companion to his beloved cat, Pixie, Allen’s warmth and kindness extended beyond his human relationships, highlighting the special bond they shared.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Ann Leffler; his mother, Alice (Sandy Cassidy) Leffler; sister, Lynn (Robert) Frasher; brother, John (Leslie) Leffler; brother-in-law, Dan (Jennifer) Otis, and dear friends John and Stephanie Birhanzl and Bernie and Berta Janita, along with special cousins, Kim, Scott, Teresa, Chris, and Kathy. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, each touched by his generosity and spirit.

Allen Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Allen Lee Leffler Sr., and his in-laws, Dick and Helen Otis.

His memory will endure through the many lives he impacted—by his steadfast loyalty, his joyful pursuits, and the profound love he bestowed on family and friends. Allen Lee Leffler Jr. will be remembered with great respect and affection by all who had the privilege to know him.
