Allen T Evans

Allen T. Evans, 83 of Hilliard, passed away at The Kobacker House on January 14, 2014. Born on March 13, 1930 to the late Sherman and Almeda Evans in Columbus, Ohio. Survived by loving wife of 44 years Jan (Hunter) Evans, children Eileen Wise, Allen (Joann) Evans, Jr, Kim Kemp, Andrea Cunningham, Allison Mayer, Wendy (Richard) Graves, step-children Tammy (Randy) Schirtzinger, Steve (Kristie) Elliott, Tara (Chuck) Byrd, 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, sister-in-law Tracey Miller, many nieces, nephews and his beloved dog Molly. Al was a member of Columbus Boys Choir as a child. He was an accomplished local musician and piano tuner for many years. He loved spending time in Zephyrhills FL. and "on the mountaintop" in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He also enjoyed his daily trips to Walmart. The family would like to send a special thanks to all the staff at The Kobacker House, for all their care. Preceded in death by 6 siblings, son Billy and grandson Billy.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 5 to 8pm.

Funeral service on Friday at 10am at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Abram officiating.
