Alma Andrix, 90, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017.
Alma was born November 26, 1926, to the late Noah and Myrtle (Stambaugh) Salyers. She was married to Elwood Sr. for 47 years.
Alma will be deeply missed by her; children Mary McCarley, Kathaleen (Marvin Jenkins) Zinsmeister, Elwood (Mary) Andrix Jr., Christine (William) Huffman; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother John Salyers; sister Jane (Joseph) Stout
Alma was preceded in death by her husband, brothers Randal Salyers, Samuel Salyers, William Salyers, half-brother Bob Salyers, sisters Marie Reynolds, Patricia Bratton, grandchildren Selina Osborne, Charles David McCarley.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Clark officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Central Ohio Chapter 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
