Alvy L. Richter, age 83, passed away on August 30, 2017.
He is preceded in death by his parents Al and Ann Richter; first wife, Wilma Richter; beloved second wife of 39 years, Shirley; sons Alvy Richter III, Darrell Richter, Craig Richter; grandson, Joshua Richter; brother Gene.
Alvy is survived by his daughter Sheila (Willie) Bethards; daughter-in-law Kandee Richter; grandchildren Joey (Gina), Jerick (Aaliyah), Shelli (Paul), Misti (Peter), Matthew, Derek, Ehren, Victoriah; great-grandchildren Isacc, Rebecca, Jacob, Juda, Levi, Ryleigh, Ava, Anberlyn, Luna and Brycen; granddaughter-in-law, Amie Richter; as well as extended family and friends.
Alvy attended Broad Street United Methodist Church.
Visitations will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Grove City, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A service will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the funeral home at 1pm. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
