Amarachi Nzogbu

Amarachi Nzogbu, 25, of Canal Winchester, passed away on May 7, 2025 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born on January 26, 2000 in Abuja FCT, Nigeria to Nnamdi and Ifeoma (Okafor) Nzogbu.

Along with her loving parents, Amarachi is survived by her brother, Chimere; sister, Ugo; aunts, uncles, many cousins, friends, and family members.

Amarachi was preceded in death by her grandma, Lady Helen Okafor.

Amarachi was attending Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio studying Neuroscience. When she wasn’t studying or on campus furthering her education, Amarachi loved to cook and listen to Christian messages and music.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 8am to 9am, Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Christ International Community Church, 4254 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, 43224. A service to honor her life will be held 9am to 11am, Saturday, May 17, 2025, also at the church. Burial to follow services at Blendon Central Cemetery.
