Amelia Apostolos Chapman, 89, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Amelia was born in Columbus, OH on January 25, 1925, to William and Marianthe (Reptellis) Apostolos and is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles Chapman.
Survivors include her daughters, Betsy A. (Georgios) Philiopoulos and Margaret Gust Guillory; grandchildren, Amber (James) Atkinson and Robert (Jessie) Smith; great-grandchildren, Cassie (JD) Burns, Allie (Shawn) Brown, Nikki (Dylon) Atkinson and Alexia J. Smith; great-great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Cameron and Cloe Burns and Shawn Brown Jr plus many dear friends.
Amelia worked for Schottensteins Department Store for many years. Family and friends will gather at 12:00 Noon till 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 with the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
Pastor Lloyd Markley will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the family.
