Amy Marie Alloway

Amy Marie Alloway, born on November 1, 1977, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 48.  Amy was a graduate of Grove City High School and lived a life marked by compassion, humor, and a strong work ethic. She was well liked by many and known for her willingness to help others and take care of those around her.

Amy’s proudest accomplishment was her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Brooklyn, and her beloved dog, Lexie Lou. Amy had a great love for thrifting, shopping, and finding special clothing for Lexie Lou. These hobbies brought her joy and close family moments.

She is survived by her daughter Brooklyn; her parents, James and Diane McGinnis; her sisters Amber (Christian) Parkham and Autumn (Joseph) Mantle; and her niece Haley and nephew Joseph. Amy was also preceded in death by her grandparents.

A celebration of Amy’s life will be held at a later date to honor the wonderful person she was and the many lives she touched. Amy’s kindness, humor, and dedication to her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
