After a two and half year battle with cancer, Angela T. Steward was called home by God on May 27th, 2020. Angela leaves behind her husband, Leslie Steward III, son, Keston Dyal, daughters Kristen Steward and Amanda Dyal Ramjattan, grandchildren, Dacian and Anandini Ramjattan, Kaiden and Kyerin Dyal, son-in-law Nigel Ramjattan and daughter-in-law Lyndsay Dyal.
Angela was born on June 17th 1956 in Sangre Grande, Trinidad & Tobago to father James Lalla and mother Mary Lalla, who predeceased her. Angela grew up in a large, loving family with seven sisters, Jessie Henderson, Monica Lalla, Rebecca Lalla Sims, Savitree Lalla (deceased), Himragee (Nargis) Ramrattan, Elizabeth McMaster, Grace Joseph and two brothers Dr. Anthony (Ashook) Lalla, and Baldeo (Busby) Lalla.
Angela graduated from North Eastern College in Sangre Grande, Trinidad. Angela was first married to Emmanuel Dyal, however would eventually separate.
In 1991 Angela moved to America which would lead her to meeting her current husband Leslie. Angela and Leslie got married on September 25th, 1993. They celebrated their 26th year of marriage last year.
In those 26 years, Angela accomplished many things but, the one thing she loved the most was children. For most of those years she worked out of her home running her own child care business. In her down time a couple of her hobbies were creative crafts including sewing and painting. Angela was a talented artist, she had an eye for decorating and vibrant colors. She could always arrange things to make anything work in any situation.
A lot of things changed over time, but there were two things that stayed the same, her beautiful smile and the love she had in her heart. She made a lasting impact on all those she encountered and her genuine and bright personality shone bright up until the end.
