Anita Marie DeCarlo (Kimball), 64, of Lancaster, passed away July 28, 2020, at peace.
She was born to James and Nancy Kimball, Jul. 7th,1956, in Columbus, Ohio. Anita has a brother, Randy Kimball, and a sister, Mary Hohman (Kimball).
Anita graduated from Columbus West High School in 1974 and married her high school sweetheart, Tony DeCarlo. In the early years of marriage, Anita and Tony lived in Germany, Kentucky, and North Carolina. They moved back to Columbus around 1978 where they built a family and resided for the next 30 years before relocating to Lancaster.
Anita was preceded in death by her father, James, and her mother, Nancy. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Tony of Lancaster and her three children: Annette (Craig), Michael (Jamie), and Austin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Chandler (Annette), Coleson (Annette), Caelie (Annette), Evelyn (Michael), Abaigeal (Annette), Alexis (Michael), Giovanni (Austin), and Piper (Austin).
Anita cherished time with her family and enjoyed the company of close friends. She found pure joy in the priceless phone calls and facetimes with her grandkids. Anita never shied away from engaging with those around her, many times creating an indelible memory or two that will be forever cherished. Anita was a sister, a wife, a coworker and a friend, but her greatest accomplishment will forever be our Mom and Grandma.
Private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anita's name to the ASPCA.
