Anita Kay George, age 51, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2016, from an extended illness. Anita was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 30, 1965 to Richard E. Robinson and Annabelle Robinson.
Anita attended Bishop Ready High school and went on to graduate from the Ohio State University, with a degree in education. Anita pursued her Montessori certification and enjoyed her work with preschool children at the Columbus Montessori Education Center.
She married her devoted husband, Curtis George, on June 24, 2000. They resided in Grove City, Ohio and enjoyed studying the Bible together and spending time with their family. Anita's strong faith in God and her large family were her greatest blessings. Anita was a free spirit who found beauty in all things and all people. She believed in the importance of education and became a teacher of life lessons for all who knew her, by her courage and optimism despite many years battling a disabling disease.
Anita was preceded in death by her father, Richard E. Robinson, her mother-in-law Marie George, her nephew, Ian J Evans, and grandparents, William and Anita Kiraly, Richard B.and Kay Robinson.
She is survived by her beloved husband Curtis George; sisters, Karen Evans (Rodney), Deborah Shafer Lewis (William), Kathleen Anthony (Christopher); brothers, Richard B. Robinson (Barbara), William Robinson, and Matthew Robinson (Heidi); Brothers-in-law, Dighton Charlemagne, Terry Bobb, Eustece Bobb, Gregory George, Philbert Clauzel, Angus Clauzel, and Burt Mathurin; sisters-in-law, Camilla Jnbaptiste, Cheryl John, and Aline Mora; step children, Leus Michell, Karen Victor (Christopher), Albert Gerald (Carleen), Cleopha Phillip (Joel), Nichole Alphonso (Curtis), Nicholas Alphonso, Yvonne George, Roma George and beloved grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Candace Evans, Richard Robinson, James Robinson, Katherine Robinson, Ryan Shafer (Jessica), Megan Gabriel (Gary), Jack Shafer, Jessica Robinson, Aidan Robinson, Dylan Robinson, Annabel Anthony, Alyssa Gaston, Justice Robinson and Gwynneth Robinson; her great nieces and nephew, Lorin, Hazel, Elayna, Emmy, Violet, Melanie and Nicholas.
Private family services will be held.
