Ann Simmons

Ann Simmons, age 94, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on September 8, 2026. Ann was born on May 10, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Lloyd and Frances Neff.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Simmons Jr, siblings, Nancy Drake, Bill Neff, and Betty Riddle.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Grant Simmons, Rebecca (Kent) Williams, sister, Sue Hill, grandchildren, Tori Rudolph, Ben Williams, Matt Williams, great-grandchildren, Izzabella, Marinette, Jaxon, Greyson, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Ann was an avid reader. She worked as a book keeper at Hocking College for many years. She loved to travel. In her younger years, she was an excellent seamstress. Ann and her husband, Harold ran a humble store in the thriving metropolis of Nelsonville. She was a great mom, grandma, and great-grandma.

She will be deeply missed.

A dignified cremation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
