Anna Himes, 90, passed away Jan. 25, 2017. Born in Lacey, KY and formerly of Waverly, OH.
She was preceded in death by parents, Sola and Robert Russell; husband, Clarence Himes; daughter, Donna (Donald) Olson; siblings, Hobart, John, Walter, Elizabeth, Clyde, Hager, Avanelle, Willis, Martha, Dorothy, including an infant sibling, and stillborn sibling.
Anna is survived by son, Clarence R. (Jackie) Himes; grandchildren, Robin Smith, Christopher Himes, Niki Simmons, Shawn (Jennifer) Olson, Faith (Doug) Burson, and Eric Olson; great-grandchildren, Brianna Smith, Cameron Smith, Katelyn Simmons, Ethan Olson, Hayden Olson, Jessica Strock, Christian Pugh, Alyssa Pugh, Gabrielle Burson, Braden Burson, and Eli Burson; numerous nieces and nephews.
Anna loved gardening, flowers, and canning.
Visitation Monday, Jan. 30, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 at 10 am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's memory to Mount Carmel Foundation (Hospice), 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213-9924.
