Anna L. Quayle, 89, of Mt. Gilead, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Kobacker House.
She was born January 28, 1925 in Columbus, daughter of the late Marion Ollam and Ruth Bowls.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce R. Quayle Sr., son, Gregory Quayle, and stepsister, Betty McDonald.
She was a member of Salvation Army Pontiac Corp. for 45 years and served as treasurer and secretary for years.
Anna also was a Sunday school teacher and Sunbeam leader.
She is survived by her children, Russell (Millie) Kanode Jr., Bruce R. (Linda) Quayle Jr., Stasy Sylvester, Robert M. (Ruby) Quayle; grandchildren, Billy (Melinda), Terri, Eddie, Natalie, Kenny (Marsha), Jason (Carol), Heather (Troy), Kermit, Matthew, Caroline (Justin), Amelia (Scott), Paul (Emma), Timothy , Jennifer (Greg), Frank (Voni), Missy (Vic), Doug, David (Connie), Joe (Ashleigh), Michael (JoAnn), Robert (Rhonda); brother, John L. (Virginia) Ollam; stepsisters, Martha Ward and Grace Gill; best friend, Jackie Rhodes; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery.
Anna loved children and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
