Anne DeRhodes, Blacklick OH, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Brookdale Lakeview Crossing. She was preceded in death by her parents Elias & Millie (Sumner) Marcum, her husband Raoul DeRhodes and her son Brian DeRhodes. She is survived by her step-son David (Tina) DeRhodes. Anne leaves behind 4 siblings, Edna (Marcum) McCoy, Rose (Keith) Archambalt, Jo (Connard) Messer, Jimmy (Linda) Marcum, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren as well as many nieces & nephews. Anne was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She dedicated most of her life to babysitting over 40 children. She enjoyed cooking, reading, shopping and always cherished spending time with family. Anne had a warm heart and open arms for anyone in need. Anne especially loved cats and anything purple. She would tell anyone her great-grandchildren were the sunshine of her life.

Cremation will be preformed by Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory.

The family will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 4pm with visiting an hour prior at 3pm at Shepherd Church of the Nazarene 425 S Hamilton Rd Gahanna OH 43230.
