Anthony Wayne Everts, (Wayne), born February 23, 1949, passed over on May 4, 2018. Preceded in death by parents Earl Everts and Helen (Lambert) Everts Follrod.
Survived by his devoted wife, Linda (Silveous) Everts, son Kenneth Everts (Terri), step-daughters Lori Lerum, Gwyndolin (Wyndi) Walters (Mark), grandchildren Joseph Everts (Alicia), John Everts and Eli Walters, great-grandchildren Jayce Everts, Anna Everts, Elias Everts, and Abigail Everts, brothers Lewis Everts, Gerald Follrod, Earl Everts, Mark Everts, Billy Everts and sister Candy Everts, extended family, loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. Wayne's roots were in Ashville, Ohio.
He worked at Magic Chef where he met Linda, they married and he then moved to Grove City, Ohio. He retired from Griffin Wheel Company. He was a quiet man with so much knowledge, a facetious sense of humor yet thoughtful and compassionate, a dedicated husband, father, grandpa and friend. He loved working in the yard, talking to neighbors, golfing, betting the horses, morel mushrooms, and being with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Always willing to help, at times without request, passively giving life lesson advice. We've all been extremely blessed to have him in our lives. He will be missed.
