As a retired Vietnam Veteran, smaller veteran owned and operated nonprofits were something that Tony not only donated to, but he believed could make the biggest impact in the lives of our veterans. Tony had two special nonprofits to which he donated. Operation Combat Bikesaver helps veterans and first responders who's program is designed to be a safe space for veterans to interact through learning, teaching, building, and bonding in a stress free environment, surrounded by individuals that signed the same dotted line. Tony has been a supporter of OCB since their founding. Since Texas was a second home to Tony, of course he found a veteran centered organization there too. Operation Once in a Lifetime's mission is to make the dreams of U.S. Soldiers and their families come true by providing free financial and moral support to U.S. Service members, their families and veterans regardless of rank, deployment, physical condition or branch of service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in Tony's name at either https://www.combatbikesaver.org/ or https://operationonceinalifetime.com/
Tony was a member of American Legion Post #532, and Lions Club in Virginia Beach and Richmond, VA.
Per his wishes, there will be no public services.
