Anthony G. Sturgill

Anthony "Tony" Glenn Sturgill, was born on October 20, 1963 in Cleveland, Ohio to his late father, Earl (Shirley) Sturgill, Sr. and mother, Rachel (Robert) Reed.  Tony passed away on July 5, 2026 at the age of 62. 

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara; Daughters, Sara (Jason) Sturgill, Amanda (Luke) Sturgill, Toni (Jonathan) Sturgill; Grandchildren, Savannah, Amaya, Brennan; Siblings, Judy Sturgill, David Sturgill, Jean Linville; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandson Ethan Vanblarcume.

Tony enjoyed shooting pool, was on several pool leagues, cooking and barbeques with family and friends, and was the life of the party. He loved to sing karaoke and everyone liked him. He had a huge heart and no one would say anything negative about him. He loved his grandkids and spending time with family. He would go all out with food on special holidays like Thanksgivinn and Christmas to make them special. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.

There will be a celebration of Anthony's life at a later date.
