Anthony W. "Tony" Bowers, 70, Westerville, OH, passed away Friday, August 09, 2013. Tony was born in Springfield, OH to William and Helen (Cotter) Bowers and is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Tony Goryl.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia (Goryl) Bowers and her children, Kristie (Dave) Orr and Andy Dayner; grandchildren, Payton, Alex and Garrett Orr; mother-in-law, Helen Goryl; Pat's six brothers and sisters and their families; many cousins and friends.
Tony was a veteran of the US Air Force, retired from United Health Care and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Westerville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013, 4-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, 10:30 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 North State Street, Westerville, OH 43081.
