Arminda M. Thompson

Arminda "Mindy" M. Thompson, 40, of Grove City, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 8, 2016. She was born on February 24, 1976 in Columbus, Ohio to William and Arlene Thompson. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Payne; grandfather, Karl Alexander; aunts Robin and Karla Alexander.

Mindy is survived by her parents; children, Bryan and Kelcey Young, Brody and Braxton Peters; special friend, Phillip L. Peters, Sr.; siblings, Kenny (Sherry) Buckler, Tammy Buckler, Karla (Adrian) Monesi; grandmother, Pauline Alexander and grandfather, Hobert Payne. Mindy's loss will be felt deeply by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other family members too numerous to name.

Mindy was a wonderful, loving mother, special daughter and sister. Her passion was caring for her family and making sure their lives were organized. She had a big heart and always had time to help her children with their lives. She was a great cook and always loved to make chicken wings with her own hot sauce. She loved nature and hiking in the metro parks of Columbus.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mindy's name to help with expenses in C/O Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.

Visitations will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio on Wednesday, December 14 from 11-1 and 6-8 and Thursday, December 15 from 5-7. A funeral service will begin immediately after the visitation on Thursday evening.
