Arthur "Don" Atwood, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, June 29 2016 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Don was born on October 29, 1964 in Hartford, CT.
Don loved music, woodworking, the outdoors, photography. He was employed at AEP for 12 years as a Meter Specialist.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ann Atwood. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Ives; children, Steven Ives, Tracie (Jon) Bellamy, Heather (Mike) Countryman, and Holly Atwood; grandchildren, Alyssa Bateman and Mariah Austin; step-granddaughter, Taylor Bellamy; father, Arthur Atwood, Sr.; step-mother, Ila Helms; brother, Sean (Janice) Atwood; numerous relatives; and his 5 beloved dogs.
Family will receive friends from 5-7pm, Friday July 8, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, S.W., 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, where a memorial service will be held immediately following at 7pm.
