He was born on April 23, 1926. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Fannie Thompson, wife, Janalee Thompson, siblings, Norville and Oscar Thompson, daughter Linda Lee, sons-in-law, Robert Soto, Terry Frazer.
Surviving family includes, children, LeeAnn (Donald) Bowling, Gail (Douglas) Buttrick, grandchildren, Stephen Frazer, Arthur Joseph (Carolyn) Frazer, Robert Soto II, Michael Frazer, Jesse (Tarry )Buttrick, great-grandchildren, Robert Soto III, Aleita Soto, Jesse Buttrick Jr., Olivia Buttrick, Arthur Joseph Frazer Jr., Keira Buttrick, Jonathan Robert Frazer.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm, Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Briggs Road Baptist Church, 3231 Briggs Road, Columbus, OH. Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the church.
Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
