Arthur R. Dean, 85, passed away on January 12, 2016. He was born on June 13, 1930. He retired as a Sergeant with the City of Columbus Police Department after 34 years.
Surviving family includes wife, Carolyn, children, Debbie Cooper, Arthur (Marsha Bennington) Dean Jr., grandchildren, Amy (Jonathan) Seese, Brad Moone, Jared (Megan) Cooper, Lindsey Cooper, great-grandchildren, Josh Moone, Fiona Seese, MacKenzie Cooper, Nolan Seese, Aidan Cooper, sister, Joann Barstow, sister-in-law, Lucille Dean and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Thursday, January 14, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A funeral service will be held at 12pm, Friday, January 15, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Alton Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Mid Ohio Food Bank, 3960 Brookham Drive, Grove City, OH 43123.
