Ashby "Gene" Carson, age 72 passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, June 3, 2016. He was born in Columbus to the late Ashby and Lilly Carson on December 20, 1943.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Deborah McDowell. He is survived by his former wife, Ruth Ann Cashdollar; children, Donald (Kathi) Carson, Sharla (Michael) Eckel and Tricia Carson; sisters, Annabelle Kazee, Karen Jane Anderson, Sharron (Bruce) Miller and Caryl (Jack) Willyerd; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, S.W., 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH where the funeral service will be held at 10:30am, Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Internment at Sunset Cemetery.
